1. About World Traveler Connect

World Traveler Connect is an online marketplace platform at travelguideconnect.com that connects travelers with independent local tour guides and drivers in Jamaica. World Traveler Connect is not a travel agency, tour operator, or transportation company. We do not provide tours, transportation services, or employ any guide or driver listed on the platform. We provide the technology to help travelers find and communicate with independent service providers.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the World Traveler Connect platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Marketplace Disclaimer

World Traveler Connect acts solely as a venue. We:

• Do not vet, endorse, or guarantee the quality of any guide or driver listed on the platform.
• Are not responsible for the actions, conduct, or performance of any user, guide, or driver.
• Do not participate in or oversee any payments made between travelers and guides.
• Cannot guarantee the accuracy of information on guide profiles.

5. Payments

All payments are made directly between travelers and guides outside the World Traveler Connect platform. World Traveler Connect does not process, hold, or facilitate financial transactions. Any payment disputes, refund requests, or financial issues are solely between the traveler and the guide.

6. Reviews & Ratings

Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on your direct experience. You may not post fake, defamatory, or incentivized reviews. World Traveler Connect reserves the right to remove reviews that violate community standards.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post false, misleading, or deceptive information.
• Attempt to circumvent the platform by transacting off-platform after initial contact.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, World Traveler Connect is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from interactions with guides or drivers found through the platform. Your use of World Traveler Connect is at your own risk. Always exercise personal judgment and take appropriate safety precautions when arranging tours or transportation.

9. Intellectual Property

The World Traveler Connect name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Guide profile content belongs to respective guides. You may not use our trademarks or reproduce platform content without written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, poses a safety risk, or engages in fraudulent behavior, without prior notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.
