Community Standards

These Community Standards apply to all users of TravelGuideConnect — users, providers, drivers, and platform administrators. By using the platform, you agree to uphold these standards in all interactions, including messaging, reviews, bookings, and public profile content.

TravelGuideConnect connects people from different backgrounds, cultures, and countries. We expect all users to:

• Treat everyone with courtesy and respect.
• Never discriminate based on race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexuality, religion, age, or disability.
• Avoid language or behavior that is offensive, demeaning, or dehumanizing.
• Be patient — providers operate in dynamic, real-world environments.

Trust on our platform depends on honesty. All users are expected to:

• Represent yourself, your services, and your experience accurately.
• Communicate clearly and promptly through the messaging system.
• Not misrepresent qualifications, locations, pricing, or availability in your profile.
• Not impersonate another user, provider, or TravelGuideConnect staff member.

Our messaging system exists to help users and providers connect. It must not be used to:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Send spam, unsolicited promotions, or repetitive messages.
• Share content that is sexual, violent, or otherwise harmful.
• Attempt to collect personal information (payment details, passwords) from other users.
• Coordinate transactions off-platform to avoid going through TravelGuideConnect.

Admin broadcast messages are one-way communications from verified platform staff. They will never ask for your password, payment details, or personal identification.

Reviews are one of the most valuable features of our platform. To protect their integrity:

• Only review experiences you actually had.
• Be accurate and fair — not exaggerated in either direction.
• Do not post fake, purchased, or incentivized reviews.
• Do not use reviews to make defamatory, harassing, or personal attacks.
• Providers may not ask users for positive reviews in exchange for discounts or other incentives.

Providers and drivers listed on TravelGuideConnect are expected to:

• Provide services as advertised on your profile.
• Agree on and honour pricing before services begin.
• Be punctual, professional, and responsive to communication.
• Not pressure users into additional services, tips, or purchases beyond what was agreed.
• Prioritize user safety and report any safety incidents to the platform.

The following will result in immediate account suspension or removal:

• Any form of physical or verbal abuse toward another user.
• Fraud — including fake profiles, false bookings, or payment scams.
• Sharing or requesting explicit content through the platform.
• Posting content that promotes or glorifies violence or illegal activity.
• Creating multiple accounts to evade a suspension.

If you encounter a user or piece of content that violates these Community Standards, please report it to us immediately:

We review all reports and take action where our standards have been violated.

TravelGuideConnect may take any of the following actions in response to violations:

• Removal of content that violates these standards.
• A formal warning to the account holder.
• Temporary suspension of account privileges.
• Permanent removal from the platform.

Serious violations — including fraud, abuse, or illegal conduct — may be referred to local authorities.
