We are a marketplace platform connecting travelers with independent local tour guides and drivers in Jamaica. We are not a tour operator, transportation provider, or employer of any guide or driver on the platform.

• Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
• Profile Information: For guides — bio, photos, location, services, and pricing that you choose to share publicly.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, search queries, and interactions with the platform, collected automatically.
• Communications: Messages sent between travelers and guides through the platform.
• Device Information: Browser type, IP address, and device identifiers for security and analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the World Traveler Connect platform.
• To verify guide profiles and maintain platform safety.
• To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, notifications, password resets).
• To respond to support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Payments

World Traveler Connect does not process payments. All financial transactions occur directly between travelers and guides outside the platform. We have no access to payment card details and are not responsible for any financial disputes.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies to understand how travelers use the platform. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features may not work correctly.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — Database hosting
• Cloudinary — Image storage and delivery
• Vercel — Hosting and analytics

8. Your Rights

9. Children

World Traveler Connect is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will delete their account promptly.
