Provider Agreement

1. Independent Contractor Status

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, partner, or joint venturer of TravelGuideConnect. You are solely responsible for your own taxes, insurance, licenses, and compliance with all applicable Jamaican laws. TravelGuideConnect does not direct, control, or supervise your work.

2. Profile Accuracy

You agree to keep your profile accurate and up to date, including:

• Your name, location, and contact information.
• Services offered, pricing, and availability.
• Any licenses, certifications, or professional credentials you claim.

Misrepresentation of credentials, experience, or services is grounds for immediate removal from the platform.

3. Licensing & Legal Compliance

You are responsible for holding all required licenses, permits, and insurance to legally operate as a tour provider or driver in Jamaica. This includes, but is not limited to, any relevant Jamaica Tourist Board provider licensing and, for drivers, a valid commercial driver's license and vehicle insurance. TravelGuideConnect does not verify licenses and is not liable for any unlicensed operations.

4. Payments

You negotiate and collect all fees directly with users. TravelGuideConnect does not process payments and takes no commission. You are responsible for all applicable taxes on income earned through bookings arranged via the platform.

5. Conduct Standards

You agree to:

• Treat all users with respect and professionalism.
• Arrive on time and deliver services as described in your profile.
• Communicate clearly and promptly about any changes or cancellations.
• Not engage in discrimination based on race, nationality, religion, gender, or disability.
• Not solicit additional payments or tips beyond what was agreed.

6. Safety Responsibility

Your clients' safety is your primary responsibility. You must not operate while impaired, use unsafe vehicles, or take tourists to locations that pose unnecessary risk. You acknowledge that TravelGuideConnect is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or incidents during services you provide.

7. Reviews and Ratings

Users may leave honest reviews of your services. You may not offer incentives for positive reviews, threaten negative reviewers, or attempt to manipulate ratings. TravelGuideConnect reserves the right to remove reviews or suspend providers who attempt to game the rating system.

8. Photos & Content

By uploading photos or content to your profile, you grant TravelGuideConnect a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content on the platform and in marketing materials. You confirm you own or have the right to use all content you upload.

9. Suspension & Removal

TravelGuideConnect reserves the right to suspend or remove any provider profile at any time for violations of this Agreement, our Terms of Service, or conduct that may harm users or the platform's reputation. Decisions may be made without prior notice.
